I don't really know how to summarize the last week at work other than stating it was quite drama-filled. And see, here's the thing: though I used to totally enjoying sitting on the outskirts and watching drama unfold when I was with D, I'm just not like that anymore. I don't like seeing, creating, or being dragged into dramafests anymore. I'd rather just wash my hands of the whole situation, indicate 'not my issue dude', and walk away than sit there and make it worse.
But it seems like this week, even though the weather was GORGEOUS, everyone was in a drama mood. My employees kept throwing it at me, to the point that Friday I got fed up and was like 'okay, I want a nice drama-free rest of the day, okay? Because I've had enough of it this week'. Of course, it didn't roll that way ... *sighs*.
I just dislike this greatly, because it's pushing at my buttons and making me very grouchy and jaded. To the point I'm considering looking for another job maybe. Seriously. I hate drama.
dramarama,
random acts of annoyance,
work related angst
