Couldn't be worse than One Hundred Years of Solitude. I totally struggled through that book and the repetitive naming.

It was good I guess, but hard to read.

Well I liked the religious undertones in His Dark Materials, but that might be because it was implying that the catholic religion is full of ... well, you know. Based on what you're saying, I think this'll be a loaner from the library. Hopefully the municipal library (probably the size of a small McDonald's seating area) will order it in, and isn't like our Blockbuster that doesn't stock any classic movies (no Hepburn, seriously??).

On a completely unrelated note, I have a new candidate for the role of arch-nemesis. You've been neglectful in your duties, and I feel maybe some competition will bring back that caustic spirit of yours.
