I won't even begin to guestimate how much money I spent today, but I know it was a lot.
I take comfort at least in the fact that I'm roughly 70% done my xmas shopping. Other than one more outting to the mall I can probably finish the rest off online.
Which is good, because the malls are already getting stupid-crazy.
Oh! And Upper Canada Mall now has a Lush! How could I resist? So I didn't. I managed to walk out with only $35 spent, and at least I can say most of it was xmas presents anyway.
It feels weird being almost done this early, but at the same time it's rather calming. Most people didn't have specific lists this year, so that left me with the ability to focus more on stuff I'd like to buy vs. what I feel I should buy. I still think everyone will like their presents, so it's all good. I mean, what person wouldn't like getting syphilis in their stocking?
Plus, this means I can focus more on baking the last few weeks in December, which is always a huge perk. Mmmmm cookies.
