Oy, I'll never be able to adjust to working a dayshift. I don't care what my mother says, I'll never be able to adjust to working a dayshift.
The good news? I'm on days to finally learn HPLC. And learn it I am, being that my trainer has that learn-or-fail-trying philosophy. So far, I seem to be learning more and failing less, but time will tell. It's all good though, I actually do learn better this way.
Now, with the exception of GC, my resume is looking very nice. Oh, and supervisor experience would be nice. They posted the backup mixing chemist position back at the start of December, and rumour has it I was the only applicant. It's now January 9th and I still haven't heard anything about it. I think if I cared more about it, I'd inquire. However, that department has a longstanding history of screwing over chubby people (seriously, I'm not being dramatic), so I won't hold my breath. If it happens, it happens. Otherwise, whatever.
Oh, and there's still nothing on tv. WTF has happened to programming nowadays?
