I'm painfully addicted to Samurai Champloo.

Oh yes, I love Foo.

And yes, I'd totally do Jin in a heartbeat.

In other news, I bought myself DDR Mario Mix today, and a DS Lite with Super Mario Brothers for Dave. Technically he's supposed to pay me back for them, but until he does I'm proclaiming that I bought them for him, thus he is my biatch ( Read more... )

Personally, I don't know, lol. If you ask me, I say I like the oldschool platform better. You ask Dave, and he'd say the newer is better.

The DS is bulkier, longer, less balanced from top to bottom, has a smaller stylus, and a shorter battery life (6-10 hrs).

The DS Lite is lighter, smaller, sleeker, better balanced, has a larger stylus (for people with real hands vs. kid hands), and a longer battery life (15-19 hrs), which is because you can adjust the screen brightness to low-med-high. But on maximum brightness, it only lasts 6-10 hrs like mine.

However, the buttons on the DS Lite look cheaper. And it only comes in white. But it has a plug to put into the GBA slot when not in use, which the DS lacks, but I figure buying a cheap game works just as well. :P

Futureshop/Bestbuy here has already started selling DS Lite accessories and appears to be phasing out the DS ones, so if you're going to go oldschool then stock up on stuff while you can [i.e. spare stylus, case, spare batteries (1 battery is good for 500 charges), and chargers themselves].

Personally, I like being one of the people who is still carrying my platinum DS around and am not running out to buy a new DS Lite to replace it. For one, since your games are stored on the system and not the cartridge, you'd lose all your games switching over, which sucks. For two, as mentioned, I'm the only one I know still using my DS and not a Lite. But that might just be because I'm not a complete trendwhore. :) DS will probably go down in price though, so Nintendo can get rid of them to make the DS Lite the new-bog-cool-thing!!!!.

... or maybe not on the losing data stuff, since Dave is playing with Coco on his DS, lol.
