Wednesday Divulsions

Apr 26, 2006 14:03

So today I did the following:

- woke up abnormally early [9:30am]
- took Daphne in for her emission testing [passed!]
- went to the gym and did a half hour on the treadmill and another half hour on the eliptical. Managed to burn 600 calories in about one hour, so I'm happy.
- came home, showered and made myself smell pretty
- made myself a batch of hummus, homemade flatbread, and a tomato-cucumber salad for my dinners at work tonight and tomorrow. Is it just me, or does two smallish pieces of thin flatbread, 1/2 cup of hummus, 1 cup of salad, and a small baggie of raw veggies seem ... excessive? For one meal at least. I know it's about 70% water, but it still seems like a lot. God, I sound anorexic re-reading that.

Conclusion: remotely productive day.

In unrelated other-day events, my doctor's office was trying to get ahold of me to discuss results from my last physical. It took me about 5 minutes to realize that my last physical was in August. The organizational level of doctors in Northern Ontario astounds me. In the end, nothing is wrong, but they want me back this August for a follow-up/monitoring session. I think they're afraid I'm going to get cervical cancer. I think their fear is cute.
