Work: that project in regards to the AA that E. and S. have me doing all the legwork for is complete in terms of practical work being done. The memo is becoming ... tedious. My first draft went over well with revisions but lots of compliments as to it being "very well written" and "impressive". Okay then. But now E. has decided that instead of presenting the data [and yes, the following will likely be mandarin to most] from the calculations that were done showing variation between current testing practice vs. the new-improved testing practice, they might be better represented if they were averaged and done as a variation between the average and the expected formulation amount. Apparently having 3% of the sample variation exceeding 2% is a concern. *eyeroll* Seriously, I'm all for doing this kind of stuff, except for the fact that this means I have to completely redo ALL my calculations. I spent 2.5 hrs on Friday tracking down formulation amounts from specifications and converting my current results from ppm to g/L. I managed to do about 1/12th of the results. :/ On the plus side, I had the Midas touch on Friday seeing as how everything I did worked perfectly the first time. Go me.
Computer: cd-rw is officially fubared. Today I purchased an LG 16X dvd-rw, after Dave reviewed the specs and found it to be acceptable. Since it'll burn cd-r and cd-rw along with dvdr/rw, why not? Especially since it was a damned good deal and was only $30 more than the generic cd-rw.
Books: finished Stolen, Bitten, Dime Store Magic, Industrial Magic by Kelley Armstrong. She's damned addictive. 2/3 through Haunted right now. Picked up 3 more issues of Love Hina today since Chapters had them at 20% off. I've since then realized that amazon.ca regularly sells them for $10 each, which is cheaper than the $11.50 I paid for each today. Amazon also has Micah on sale for super cheap, and I need to place an order for a game for my stepmom anyway. Bought the new Robert Jordan for my dad, and a classic kid's book for my sister for xmas [far in the future, but it's called pacing]. Always seeking recommendations though!
Fitness: that bugger cold has finally retreated enough that I can walk up stairs without running out of breath. Oh yes, I was that congested. I picked up a copy of Carmen Electra's aerobic striptease volume 1 last weekend, so I decided to try it out Thursday. Gads it was fun! Yes, my neck needs work so I look less stiff when doing my head roll, but I'll get it. Picked up volume 2. I figure one volume per month is perfectly within moderation. I want to attack volume 4 though, which is lapdances. Starting back at the gym this week too. Aiming for 2-3 gym visits per week and 2-3 post-work toning sessions. Essentially, as long as I do something each day I'll be happy. Have to start pricing bikes so I can start riding to the gym/to do errands/leisurely.
Etc.: well, Dave and I had some marathon sex. I am thoroughly filled with jizz now. It's a good feeling. I also have a neck full of hickeys that were unintentionally *coughs* inflicted. Meetings with bosses at work Monday/Tuesday are going to be fun. I'm also addicted to Starbucks Tazo shaken iced teas. Yum! Today's weather was gorgeous so I walked around and soaked it up. Tomorrow's supposed to be equally nice, so it's all good. I've also watched both Zathura and Cake recently, so I'll have to post about those eventually. Is it bad that I'm kinda squeeking about Where the Truth Lies being out on dvd already?
