Met Dave's family tonight
Apparently I am a "sweet girl" and we are a "lovely couple". I am convinced this is all based on the fact that I curled my hair tonight.
Ah yes, feel the power of the curl!
Silly people, they haven't gotten to know me yet.
In 33 hrs and 15 minutes we leave for my parents place, glee!
But within the next 12 hrs Dave and I get to spend our first xmas together opening presents on xmas morning.
Yes, I am a sappy fool, but it's our first xmas together! :)
That's about the extent of my xmas spirit. I have none this year. It doesn't feel like xmas eve, yet it is for another 13 minutes. Ho hum. I think I'm going to wrap Dave's dad's gift (copy of Eragon, which I hear is good and hope he doesn't own already!), then grab a bath and a hot chocolate and cuddle up in my flannel pink Pooh jammies with my baby until we're tired. It's a great any-night routine; even holidays are any-night. They're just a little more special.
I associate apple cider with cinnamon as being something that "tastes like xmas". Dave's mom finds these empire cookies "taste like xmas". I can't remember what his sister said did it for her. But for me, apple cider with a stick of cinnamon does it for me. Xmas orgy in my mouth!
