Went home for the first time in 5 months. For some reasons, vacations are never vacations for me. Granted, I was glad to go home, but it appears that relaxation is just not in my agenda. I had a funeral to go to, baby shopping, baby Dr. appointments, a trip up to Chi-town, lots of baby sitting, and one-on-one parental conversations.
However, I do have a few reasons to celebrate. I got to feel my God-daughter kick me....something tells me that this will happen a lot after she's born. Damn Tina and Matt. I got to go out with my mom for a bit and we talked about stuff. The house is now replenshed in basic cooking necessitites thanks to the 'rents. And I got to play with a lot of videogames....oh lord how I miss the play station....but hey to Ashley who should be bringing it back in her suit-case from Ohio. My friends who couldn't be here for the show next weekend ran lines with me....they think it's really messed up, which of course it is.
I just wish breaks were actually relaxing, but ah well. At least I got to get away from a few days of homework .
Oooo, one exciting thing, I get paid on Monday, and I got a huge check in the mail, so hell yeah. I'm set for the rest of the semester, and I can make the down payment for when I go to Italy.
For those of you that don't know, my brother Josh has moved to Quincy. As in he has an apartment on 8th street, and well we'll see how that goes. While my parental units are optimistic, I cannot say that I am....but that's why God invented Karma.
