1. What did you do in 2005 that you'd never done before? I kissed a boy. And went on two rock-tourism road trips without my family. And had a 20 minute conversation with Glenn Kotche. And lived on my own (ish) Oh! And I got a screenplay copyrighted!
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year? I don't think I made any...except for getting my homework done and the like..so...yeah. I've got a bunch for next year.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth? My aunt and my cousin...as well as a few of my friends/friends' wives.
4. Did anyone close to you die? Yes, my neighbor, Allen.
5. What countries did you visit? None this year. You should have asked me that last year.
6. What would you like to have in 2006 that you lacked in 2005? Driver's lisence.
7. What date(s) from 2005 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? 6/2/05 prom day. 6/10/05, my 18th birthday. 6/22/05 the Joanna Newsom concert. 8/22/05, the day my parents left me. 10/29/05, my first Rocky Horror Picture Show. 12/6/05, the day of my first kiss.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? Talking to an agent, fitting in in Carbondale, actually making connections, gettinig my highest GPA ever.
9. What was your biggest failure? I gained 10 pounds, haven't been taking my meds as much as I should, and, uh, I've lost touch with some of my closest friends.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury? Spent a weekend in the hospital with the Chicken Pox when I should have been out seeing the Old 97's and various hipster bands. There were other various injuries and the like....I'm never totally healthy.
11. What was the best thing you bought? My Lappy! Yay for the Dell Inspiron 6000!
12. Whose behavior merited celebration? My mother, for putting up with me. Matt, for putting up with me. Sarah, for putting up with me. And many others who, you guessed it, put up with me!
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed? Uh...the morons at VC (they know who they are)...the government (bastards!!!)....and many others.
14. Where did most of your money go? phone bill. when the hell did i start talking on the phone???
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about? Boyfriend. Definitely the boyfriend. Going to college. Chilling with Sarah. Road trips! Visiting friends.

17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
A. happier or sadder? happier, i think.
B. thinner or fatter? Fatter.
C. richer or poorer? Richer in spirit...probably spent more money, but,then again, I worked all summer.
18. What do you wish you'd done more of? I wish I'd told more people how I really felt, and stood up for myself more, and not been so shy.
19. What do you wish you'd done less of? Worry what people thought of me.
21. Did you fall in love in 2005? Yes. Head over heels!
22. How many one-night stands? I can't even count... (honestly...impossible to count what doesn't exist...)
23. What was your favorite TV program? CSI!
24. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year? Hate is a bad thing.
25. What was the best book you read? "Reading Lolita in Tehran"
26. What was your greatest musical discovery? Goddamn...tough question! Robbie Fulks, definitely. The Rolling Stones too. Beck as well! Sondre Lerche and the Smoking Popes aren't bad either...Oh god....the Shangri-Las...haha...And, oh man, Joanna Newsom was a great find as well. Best rediscoveries: Neil Young, Tina Turner, Mary Black & Nanci Griffith.
27. What did you want and get? Boyfriend, laptop, ipod mini...dedication from the Old 97's.
28. What was your favorite film of this year? If it isn't obvious by now, I'm obviously not pathetic enough: "Charlie & the Chococolate Factory"!
29. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you? 18, went to a rock show with friends, spent the day at school getting my yearbook signed.
30. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying? Selling a screenplay..but...well..yeah....
31. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2005? Fangirl chic!
32. What kept you sane? My music, my lappy, my friends.
33. Which celebrity/public figure(s) did you fancy the most? Let the list begin: Glenn Kotche, Sondre Lerche, Beck, Paul Burch, John Linnell, Gram Parsons, Pat Sansone, Owen Wilson. I'm sure there are more.
34. What political issue(s) stirred you the most? OY! I don't wanna talk about it...
35. Who did you miss? Old friends, Jeff, Sue, the kids, Sarah, everyone who lives too far away...
36. Who was the best new person you met? Matt!!!!!
37. Tell us a valuable life lesson, or lessons, that you learned in 2005: Eventually, things will work out...sometimes life really is like one of my screenplays.
