I think I've got it! I think I finally have a good idea for a screenplay.
It came to me in a dream this morning. It's a bit cliched and would probably get picked up by Disney, but it's kind of nice to have the PG muse come to visit me for once, instead of the RATED R muse.
So, my dream took place in Cinderella and Prince Charming's palace. But this time, it's not about them. It's Prince Charming's little brother's time to get married, and his mother, the Queen, is holding a ball. But the story is focused around on of the servants: A girl whose mother had worked in the palace, and her mother before her. Now, this girl had grown up with the younger Prince. When they were younger, they would sneak away and climb trees and go swimming and that sort of thing.
Well, I don't know what happens in between, I think I'll abandon the idea of the fairy godmother, but she somehow ends up going to the ball. He picks her to dance with, knowing very well who she is, but his mother doesn't recognize her.
there's some scandal about him wanting to marry a servant, yadda yadda yadda, they end up together, proving that class can be broken.
it's cheesy, i know, but at least it doesn't have a rock star in it, right?
kids,
