Laura's wedding was beautiful. She looked so happy. So did her new husband (!!!) Chris. It was nice spending so much time with my family. Julie (the one who was married last year) is glowing...she's due in November! (It's kind of strange...I've never sat down and had a conversation with her husband, Carl, but yet I feel compelled to hug him hello and good bye every time I see him. It's funny how family works.) Ben (who is now 5) caught the garter and was playing 'catch' with the flower girl with it. They were adorable. It's interesting how much the dynamic of the family changes with each wedding...it suddenly becomes a reality that we're forced to accept...almost like it was never any different before...hmm...

Monday I went with the gang to see Moby at the Taste of Chicago. Although it rained, a lot, it was still good times. We need to make plans about the Intonation festival in a week.

I may get to be in a movie with the Old 97's! I'm calling the people this morning to see if they still need extras for that scene. Do you think maybe mentioning that I know the guys would help? I hope I'm conventionally good looking enough for them. Whatever. I just want to be famous. (I've been "almost famous" for too long!) And hang with Rhett. w00t.

Oh, great, I've started my period and there isn't a single female in the office who could help me. What am I going to do?
