it's almost here...i know it is...
greetings! it's about time for an update, isn't it? well, i'll do this quick, i want to start a new family on the sims...
Wednesday: my performance went very well. i wore tons of stage makeup. however, after the awards (before the show itself) i had to apply more mascara/eyeliner because i had been crying. i won the senior of the year award and i was sobbing before mrs. nielsen even said my name! she talked about how the person who won hadn't been acknowledged for all of her hard work backstage. yes, i was sobbing. and, as most of you know, i am rarely moved to tears.
Thursday: open mic. muy bien. jeff was in seattle that night so he couldn't go with me (oh well) but i read "Dreaming Ghost" and everything went well. lots of white boys with guitars. good times. heather gave people cookies for reading their pieces. she and daneely hosted. they were good hosts. i almost cried because it was my last open mic ever at northside. yeah.
Friday: my improv performance kicked some major ass. i got to reprise my role as the jewish mother's choice of daughter-in-law. (why am i so damn good at that? sort of scary) went out for cuban food with rachel, arnora and jenny (oh yeah, and ray too, but he doesn't count) and i stuffed myself with platains. later that evening i went out for ice cream with kate, graham and emily. it's so sad that i'll be leaving right after they move here. emily is so cute, she's like mini-kate. we played with polly dolls for a while and took the birds out.
Today: i'm not doing anything! possibly going to see star wars tonight with my family.
finally: HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHELSEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! have fun, don't focus on work, eat/watch/do whatever you want!
