Opening Night!
Lovely, fabulous, wonderful, heartbreaking, hopeful, inspiring.
Such an amazing amount of support of my friends. Got flowers from Kayleigh & Laura, and from Kandace. So many of my friends from various parts of my life were there and it felt incredible. I couldn't stop smiling.
And the most truly phenomenal thing about all of it was that I felt happiest knowing that it was not about me. It was about the cause, it was about the women to whom we gave voices, it was about the collective group of us. There was no overwhelming ego or any of that. It was the most pure my spirit has felt in a long time.
The party at UpsideDowntown was awesome! Danced with lots of friends, and the drag show was fun too!
Really tired today. Family in town. Yeah. They'll be here in a minute, soooo...I gotta go.
