Happy Sunday...ish.

Sooooo...yeah...I wound up never getting together with James this weekend...which makes me sad...but we just never got ahold of each other.  I told him to call me if he had a chance...but he never did.  Eventually we'll get together, I think.  I hope.

This weekend, however, was not wasted in the least!  On Friday, I hung out with Kayleigh and Laura for the entire night and we talked and laughed and generally had a good time.  We've decided to form the "Secret Steak & Shake Starbuck's Society", which is, essentially, just the 3 of us going out for coffee and milkshakes.  I see even more good times ahead in the future.

Yesterday I spent the day with Katie...we took Andy to the mall to buy pants because he only owns shorts (what a wierd kid!) and I hadn't been feeling my best so I partook in some retail therapy, and bought that shirt I really like from Hot Topic.  In the evening we went to see the Lights Fantastic parade, which was cold, but very much worth it.  Of course, afterwards we went to her parents' house and at the left over food from Soiree.  Katie dragged me out of the room when I was hanging around talking to her mom, even though I was enjoying the conversation.  I like her parents a lot.  I know I've said this before, but they're like my family away from my family.  In the evening, we watched Orgazmo and Cannibal: The Musical, both of which were highly enjoyable, if not a bit cringe worthy.  The audio sync in Cannibal: The Musical was often waaaaaaay off, though...so I couldn't help but fixate on that a bit.

I slept well last night, but I'm still really tired today...maybe it's because I've got a paper to write and laundry to do and I'd rather just stay in bed rather than actually accomplishing something.  I've got a lot to write about Nashville, so I'm sure that once I get on that, I'll be finished with it relatively soon, but, yeah...I've only got a couple lines right now.   I think I'll start now.  Tonight I'm going over to Sara's to watch TV and chillax before beginning another crazy week at SIU...and another week spent in the basement of the comm building.  (Tomorrow I'm probably gonna edit the audio project all night...and then spend all day Tuesday tweaking my film.)

friends, writing, film, class, editing, movies, boys
