Yay all nighters...
Tonight I'm staying up all night. Why? Because I took a 'mental health weekend' that was filled with lots of stuff. Ok, not all of it was me relaxing. Today I was busy as hell. And Friday I was busy too.
Today was pretty cool. We shot the open for the next episode of AltNews and I got to play a character who faints. It was pretty awesome, I got to be all melodramatic and stuff. It's the role I was born to play, baby! Then, I cooked with Kandace and her mom for the CIW people. We made dozens of enchiladas and lots of other yummy Mexican type things. It was a lot hard work. Then, I went over to Sara's to rewrite the reality TV show 'pitch' we had to do for class. We're almost done with our final draft, before we (hopefully) present to the whole class, not just our section. We're really trying to win this thing, since the prize is gift certs for our favorite cafe.
And now, a list of the things I need to accomplish tonight:
Put laundry away
Wash hand wash only clothes
Do more laundry
Wash sheets (included in laundry)
Wash dishes
Put away all trash
Essay for film production
Critique 2 short stories
Write a half dozen half page journal entries for vis lit
Various room cleaning things
Get film packages ready to be sent out on Tuesday
A list of the foods I have/will probably eat tonight:
Coffee (at least half a pot)
pizza rolls
chips (lite) & salsa
strawberry pop tarts
w00t.
ok.
I'm gonna die tomorrow. I'll need a constant stream of caffeine in my system to just survive class, let alone the CIW presentation at 7...and the march to MickD's afterwards.
How sad is it that I'm really looking forward to bedtime tomorrow night?
Apparently last night was a pretty heavy drinking night for the girls (Sara, Laura & Hayley.) I told Sara to knock on my door anytime if she brings home Laura or Hayley home sick (this time it was both) and that I'd do my best to help take care of them. I realize that I don't need to do this and that it is not my obligation, but, I feel like I should. I like taking care of people. I guess it's that motherly instinct. Although, I'm not a big fan of dealing with people who are puking, I gotta say...so maybe I should make sure that there's another person there with me.
Ok, seriously time to get back to work. I've accomplished a grand total of 2 things in my list thus far. I realize that I have plenty of time, but I'd like to get enough done so that I don't have to think too much tomorrow...er...later today.
