Poll Results & The Uptown Art Fair

Okay, the Tickeyboxes have it - "Paradigm Destiny" is staying on the community as well as on my LJ.  Thanks to everyone who participated. :)

In other news, the Uptown Art Fair is this weekend.  I love looking at the art, clothing, and jewelry for sale, even if some of the stuff I want is WAY out of my price-range.  If I could win the lottery, though, there's this gorgeous painting featuring a fortune cookie that I pretty much fell in love with.  But the price was $1,100! O_o

So basically, I just broused and tried some of the novelty foods.  The deep-fried cheese curds weren't as good as they had been in past years (for those who don't know, deep-fried cheese curds resemble "bits" from a chip shop but are - when made correctly - crunchy on the outside and gooey on the inside), so I won't be trying those again this year.  My current favorite is the European styled Crepes, which are made fresh as you watch.  I had one with strawberries and Nutella (that's a chocolate/hazelnut spread - a tastey and decadent alternative to peanutbutter!) on Friday night after work and would definitely have another! :) Mmmmmmmmm. CHOCOLATE! I also had a glass of red wine as well (Pinot Noir - a bit woody for my taste. :P) last night, so I was mildly loopy and forgot that I wanted to post about the Art Fair.

Before I went home today, I saw a little girl who was about 2 years old dancing - or actually bouncing, hehe - to the music at a local radio station's booth.  I wish I would have had my digital camera with me - it would have made such an adorable video! :)  I don't remember what the song was, but that doesn't matter.

Anyway, tomorrow's the last day of the Art Fair for this year and I'm hoping to be there as early as I can manage.  There's lots of vender's booths I haven't gotten to yet, not to mention foods and drinks I haven't sampled. :)  Maybe another of those wildberry Smoothies and a funky but affordabel piece of jewelry...

Maybe I'll try the chocolate truffle while I'm at it.
