oh I'm just a girl...
Today just minding my business when I got a call from my friend Kayla. I've known Kayla since Cerra Vista School. She is one of my closest friends and have always been warmly welcomed in her home. Her mom had gotten sick, she didn't tell me what exactly but that she was sick and to keep her in my prayers. I have been and I have been thinking about her ever since. Todays call was to let me know that her mother had passed. I was so shocked and speechless, me speechless. I didn't know what else to say but sorry and then I started to cry. She continued to tell me that her family had come in from everywhere and that no one was to wear black to the funeral. Her mother had mentioned that she hated seeing people wear black to funerals. So I took note of that and will not be packing any black. I just purchased some tickets home and will be attending the services.
