*takes small bow* :-)

It's nice to know that the heat wave managed to inspire something readable - because I've been feeling pretty brain dead the past few days. I'm supposed to be working on all sorts of things, and none of them are happening. This did. *g*

btw -- unless y'all have a mirror-image expression, it'd be "he'll tear a strip off all of us." Which is true.

I just love the laying down with the sword. And Xander's Xanax-book as a pillow! Hee!

Well, we must do since I think of it the other way round - but you're right, as this is Willow saying it ... so, presto, chango! *g*

Oh, my -- so well done!

I don't suppose you will continue it? I know you have many irons in the fire (forgive that one) -- but post-near-Apocalypse!Giles -- what a great idea!

(And thanks for saving the books, too!)

Oh, Giles would never forgive them if they saved him but left the books behind ... *g*

I've a suspicion writing more of this would require more research and development than I have time to do at the moment. But if the inspiration strikes? We'll see ...

I agree. This is a wonderful story. I could really see Giles doing things just that way, too.

It struck me that - given there was nothing he could do to prevent what was happening - if he had a choice between getting on a plane to save himself, or giving up the seat to save a sixteen year old Slayer with her life ahead of her, he'd choose the Slayer every time.

And I think he just went on giving up those seats until there were no more to give ...
