It's not like they were cute and trendy anyways.
The ugly:
* Someone stole my spare pair of work shoes at school today. Lovely! Had to buy a new pair, that ended up being totally not good, so hopefully I'll be able to return them, so I can get a pair of boots for everyday wearin' instead. Or pay for bills or something. Whatever.
* The dryer seems to be broken. I woke up this morning, expecting to find clean, warm work clothes and dance clothes and towels, but instead found a soggy mess. I ran the dryer again with no better results. I wore a super craptastic pair of pants to work, and ended up buying a polo shirt and a sweater when I bought my shoes. (The sweater was on sale for 6 dollars, so that was actually nifty) I also danced in wet ballet shoes, and wore a not really clean leotard. Gross.
* I am amazingly behind in classwork and housework, and will need to devote a huge chunk of tomorrow, and all of Monday to getting it done. I also had one of those days at work where I just did NOT want to be there, and all I could think of was A) Game night, and B) My huge to-do list.
* The left side of my body is just fucked. My back is killing me, partially due to long days, partially due to the huge amounts of lateral flexion done in modern, and partially because it's never been diagnosed and treated. I am sure the craziness of the left side of my back is making my left hip crazy and painful all the time, and causing me to constantly roll my left ankle. When I lay on the ground, the left side of my pelvis doesn't really touch the floor. Not so good, I think. I must make an appointment for it to be looked at.
The good:
* I went to game night at Heather's, and had a good time. I love playing games, and I wish I could have gotten there earlier. I will have to have a game night of my very own soon.
* I've managed to pack some food almost everyday this week. Usually just oatmeal, but that seems to tide me over.
* The February issue of Vegetarian Times is out, and there are some super yummy looking recipes I am excited to try.
