1. If someone described a person as "nice", what mental picture would that give you? Would their gender make a difference (i.e., is the mental picture of a "nice" woman different from that of a "nice" man)?
I guess I usually imagine a sort of bland, but pleasant looking person, usually either attired in a 40's style skirt/heels, or a business suit and a hat. A "nice" person in my mind always has a nondescript, but smiling face.
2. Is it important to you that people be "nice"? Why or why not?
Being nice is...nice, but it's not an end all. It's better to be nice, but it doesn't always get you where you want to be.
3. How "nice" are you?
I'm nice-ish, I guess. I try to be pleasant, and helpful, and if I take a liking to someone I'll bend over backward for them. However, I also refuse to let people walk all over me, or push me around, which negates some of my niceness.
4. Who is the "nicest" person in your life?
Probably Lindsay. That girl is waaaay too nice.
5. What is the "nicest" thing in your life?
I have many "nice" thinks in my life. My family, my love, my friends, being privileged enough to attend school, my health, and my job, among other thins.
