mmm concert
so the ub40 concert was last night and it was pretty good. one of the band members couldnt get into the country though cause the u.s. wouldn't issue him a visa so he did his part via satellite. once ub40 got on stage i had more fun because then all of my friends were out of the beer garden eheh, last call was 8:45. i felt like a dork though cause i didn't even think to bring cash with me, all i had were my cards and of course, no atm and no places that accepted cards. for some reason my friends had decided to get some weed from someone and try to roll a joint. well, no one with us could roll a joint, they wasted an entire bud, i was sad. thankfully i saw my friend suzie and she gave me one :). it was kinda scary though, i dont think im going to smoke in that public of a place again. it wasn't like we were the only people smoking, it was a ub40 concert for cripes sake. like the 4th song in the video screen had pot leaves all over it eheh. i saw penina there :) i was so happy to see her cause she had said that her mom gave away her ticket. i wanted to smoke before hand but everyone wanted to go inside already, oh well, it was their loss :). saw chris sopkins at safeway after the concert eheh, i think all of the west side of the island was there. i dont think the swing zone is going to have another concert, we broke down part of their fence eheh. then again it wasn't like the street was lighted so i didnt even have any idea the fence was down until i got right on top of it. danette was going to take me to deny's to meet up with daniel but her car was at kmart so we hopped in her friends van so she could take us up there. apparently from the time it took us to get to the van and pull out like 20 cops showed up to do checks of everyone leaving. we didn't move for 20 minutes and then i said that i was going to walk. thankfully daniel came and picked us up at old a's (that's where the parking was).
