So! I've decided to try out for TCRG's fresh meat next year. Tryouts for this year are in a week, and I cannot actually rollerskate at this time.

I need to have a concrete goal in order to get fit and stay fit. "Overall Health" is just too amorphous for me to stick to it. "Look great on wheels and in fishnets at 30kph while throwing hip and shoulder checks in one of the few arenas where women are actually encouraged to be aggressive and strong" somehow seems more motivating.

I've been coming up with names, because that is the easiest part:

Lady MacDeath (taken but appears to be out of use)

Dr. Frank-N-Hurt-Her (taken but out of use)

Other suggestions are appreciated. :P

It's a huge time commitment and it might come down to school/work winning out. But... I wanna have a "thing". Something that I do that fuels me, and makes life fun. I had it with the Dreadnoughts, but with derby, there would never be an ultimatum to "go pro or give up". I need to try something that actually makes me as tough as I pretend to be.
