- Friending is welcome but not required.
- Questions about fonts, coloring, etc. are welcome. I don't bite (much).
- I reserve the right to be silly in my posts if I so desire.
- Icons may be used as avatars on message boards as long as you give credit.
- Icons may be used on other journaling services as long as you give credit.

About Credit
I ask for credit for two reasons: One, so people will know where to find my icons if someone finds them interesting and wants more. And Two, because I firmly believe in credit where credit is due.

To credit
Put [lj user="twdicons"] or [lj user="argylepiratewd"] (using <> instead of []) in the keywords or comments for the icon.
Example 1 | Example 2

The penalty for not giving credit is being hit on the head with a chicken by a person in a suit of armor. And it makes me very sad, and when I'm sad, I cry. The penalty for hotlinking is a chicken-hit, a fish-slapping with an appallingly disgusting toxic rotten fish by a person in a Haz-Mat suit (because the fish is appallingly disgusting and toxic), and multiple bites from the killer rabbit. And the replacement of all icons with pictures with big, giant "You are hotlinking!" messages, which will be terribly inconvenient for both of us. Why not get your own Photobucket account instead?

Most fonts from DaFont. If they're not available on DaFont, then I probably can't remember where they came from but I can try to find out. Screencaps used for icons made by me; only on rare occasions are the pictures someone else's, and I will normally credit that person in the post. Stock photos from stock.xchng.

Tutorials
Mostly I tend to experiment with settings, blend modes, and other things and only look at step-by-step coloring tutorials for the basic ideas, so most of the tutorials I've memmed have to do with composition and helpful little tips and tricks.

IrfanView--The batch conversion feature of this program made dealing with screencaps much, much easier and meant I didn't have to convert the (literally) thousands of screencaps on my harddrive from massive BMP files to JPG files by hand.

Icon Table Generator--Another thing that makes things much easier.
