I understand you know someone styling himself the Master. I've received reports that an organization called the Kashtta Trust is trying to establish a foothold here in Chicago, and that its envoys arrived on Christmas Day. Strangely enough, that was also the date of the Master's first post to the journal networks.
This could just be a coincidence, of course, but as the Trust's agenda seems to include the acquisition of Torchwood, it seemed prudent to contact you directly. Any information on the Trust would be helpful, including whether or not the Master's one of their envoys.

I apologise for the bother, but we've recently become aware of a group trying to establish a foothold here in Chicago. They're called the Kashtta Trust, and my sources indicate they're showing an interest in Torchwood. If you happen to know anything about them, we'd appreciate whatever information you could provide.

I'm leaving this lock rather broad, in the hopes that even if you can't help me, you'll be able to direct me to someone who can. I'm a Wanderer, looking for someone familiar with the history and politics of Britain (particularly Scotland) and/or India, specifically anything relating to the Torchwood Institute, Torchwood House in Scotland (particularly around 1879-there was an incident there involving HM Queen Victoria, in my own world, and I'm trying to find any signs of something similar here), or the Kashtta Trust.
The Kashtta Trust is really my primary concern, but information on any of the above would be helpful-it's possible the Trust was created as a branch of Torchwood during the Colonial Era, and if so, any information on this universe's Torchwood would be of help.
