Central Atlantic Tropical Depression Nana & A Satellite System
If you look closely to the southwest of Nana, in the bottom-left of the image above,
there is possibly another micro-tropical storm in the making. Earlier this month,
Tropical Storm Marco formed in extreme southwestern Gulf of Mexico. Marco, with a
radius of tropical storm force winds of roughly only ten miles, was the smallest
tropical cyclone in recorded history, taking out the previous record-holder,
Cyclone Tracy (Australia), from way back in 1974.
