last weekend was one of good deeds, and more good deeds.
it started out with saturday morning--i woke at 630 am to get ready for a fun afternoon at the L.A. foot bank! I joined circle K international at school, which is like a college level key club, and we packaged foods for needy children in the area. it was so fun. the food came down that long thing, yano, that goes real fast...and you hafta, like, grab it all swiftly and efficiently, and package them all seperately into the correct crates. it was dizzy-ing and sweaty but i like being a hott mess for a good purpose...actually just in general. =p
after that it was just day drinking and marc jacobs shopping and more fried calamari and drinking and more food and than a chit chat at urth with my favz---nicole&ingrid<3. basically, food and drank..allllll daaaayz. sunset&melrose, our usual saturdays.
sunday erin and i got up early to go to farmers market in santa monica [per usual]. i just love it there. i got a spinache, cheese, and egg crepe. mmm!and erin bought some hawt clothes. on our way back to the car we found a bag of goodies full of cd's and books that people were giving away. [got a kickass irish celtic cd!] i found 4 bucks in a booksleeve and we decided to use it for a good cause. then we hit up this Peace Festival going on at the Pier. we used the four bucks on these peace bracelets where 100% of the proceeds were donated to this peace organization. than we found this organization for the protection of wildlife...we bought these bracelets that had little individual tabs that you inserted. each tab had a different animal on it that was endanger of being extinct, that you pick out yourself. so cool. we look 12 when we wear them<3. than we made these DOPE ASS ...like...satchell craft pieces. yano, it was like a burlap material with different fabrics that we used to make designs. i'm not even sure what cause that was for but we spent FOREVZ on them. and they are now hanging in our apt. ahahah. so lame. i love it. than we like, passed out on the beach from all the good-deed-doing and finished off the day with some panini's on 3rd st. all in all, a shwonderful day of giving...and fun!
its been so nice living with my best friend. so, so nice. no more psycho roomies that schools just LOVE to pair me up with. its really just the best feeling ever to be secure with the person you're living with, and she makes everything happier--errands are more fun, getting ready, getting up, eating. hahah. no more doing everything all by myself. i've always wanted this. <3.
