But I do have an old mobile lying around. Only problem is: everything about it works, except that the part where you connect the plug of the energy thingy (yes my technical lingo is excellent) is completely busted, so it's not actually chargeable.
Do they just need it for old parts, because if so I won't mind sending it in, or do they actually need working cells?

That charity sounds great. I know how important spaying and neutering cats is. I'm trying to get a couple of our cats spayed, and I've been having one heck of a hard time getting a vet to answer my calls! IDK what's going on.

You might try calling your local animal shelter which is probably run by either your city or county and asking them about spaying and neutering. It would probably be cheaper for you.
