So, yesterday I started this "project". You know how some people are doing that "read 50 books in a year" thing? Well, I'm reading 50 books, but my plan is to read one book from each section of the library
( Read more... )
As verbose as I am, you'd think I'd be a big reader, but I guess I'm all talk, no reading. ;) 50 books in 20 years would be difficult for me, if not unrealistic... I mean, I could do it, but it's sort of like saying I could shave myself bald and then spray paint my head. There are other things I'd rather do. Good luck to you, though. :)
Other than the Bible, there is only one book that immediately comes to mind that I would recommend for anyone to read: Richard A. Knaak's The Legend of Huma. This book falls into the Fantasy genre (big surprise there, right?... I'm sure you were waiting for me to recommend a Western ;), and because of that, I hesitate to make a recommendation. I guess I get the impression you might be pretty picky in that category... Whether that's a fair or unfair judgement, you'll have to tell me. :} Anyway, I won't be offended if you don't consider it. Take or leave... your call. :}
