In other news, syphilis is on the rise. There were 260 cases in NY, during the first 3 months, which is more than the entire year of 2006.
There was also a huge syphilis outbreak here in San Diego, at San Diego State University.
Syphilis combined with 19th century revival movements in clothes and architecture=New Victorianism (as the Times dubbed it).
Awesome.
Now we New Victorians can all die from new TB. Excellent. On the way will be Crimean wars and opium dens. STOKED.
