hello folks,
summer sucks balls.
working, but mostly NOT working. summer class sucks. epic boredom
so, just in case you didnt know, i work at a golf course. its a very easy job and i love doing it. our main problem is our over-staffing. we have 40 guys to do a 20 person job. that means an average person would lose half of their working hours. at first i worked once over the course of two weeks, but that next week, joe had to call out due to heartbreak, so i went in to cover for him. his shift was at 630 in the morning and it was opening the course up. i had only worked a few shifts at this point, so i was still new. this made the bossman furious, but he gave me a few simple instructions, and boy did i impress him. i did things fast and well. the week after he gave me 4 shifts in one week (thats unheard of). hes still stiffing me for tips, but thats okay i suppose cause i'm making bank from hours.
i have a summer calculus class. it is going to be the death of me. let me give you a rundown of my math experience. senior year took a "college level" calc I. got credit for it, but not as calc I as "Misc Credits". K. freshman year college: im placed into precalc? wat. this shits easier than my precalc course in high school! i pass with an A- while playing computer games the ENTIRE time. rest of the year, thumb up my ass waste of time. soph year. calc 1... again. should be easy, right? well... kinda. multiple choice tests, but the right answer was rarely on the page. the average class score was below a 50% on almost every test and thats WITH the curve. my highest test score in that class was a 10/25 which is a 40. i ended up passing the course with a 77. how? curve baby! thats right. i got about 45 points in curve as did the rest of the class. i passed! on to calc II! OH SHI-- calc II is hard? fuck this! DROPPED! ill take this shit in the summer at an easy school...
and thats where i stand right now, but i made a crucial error. the only calc II here is for people who want to take it to get ahead. that means i'm the dumb kid in the class. it feels like english with mrs halpern all over again.
blah blah blah so bored all the time. i literally see what time it is when i wake up and force myself to sleep past 12 just to kill time as fast as possible. today there is construction or someshit outside so i gave up on that. yeah thats about it.
on a side note, a while ago i noticed that quite a few of the rapper DMX's songs are incredibly homophobic (ex. 'Where Da Hood At' expresses his anger at 'the hood' being gone because some gay people live there now), yet in many of his songs he talks about smacking dudes with his dick. LOLWUT
