eBay is the devil
No I haven't abandoned this journal yet, I just haven't taken the time to write in it lately.
A couple weeks ago I purchased a new cell phone,
and couldn't find any fun things in this city to alter its appearance.
This of course led to me firing up my web browser and seeing what I
could find online. I had trouble finding many companies that would ship
to Canada at a reasonable price so I moved onto browsing eBay. I have
had an eBay account for probably 3-4 years and yet I have never bought
anything. Well within a week I have spent almost $300 on phone
accessories and a set of kitchen knives. Now I'm impatiently waiting
for everything to arrive, eBay doesn't fullfill my need for instant
gratification.
The last couple weeks my Mom has been in really rough shape because she
wrecked her back again. This happens every year or two, it is so bad
she can barely walk or drive. She is supposed to see a specialist soon
and he will probably recommend surgery. I have been out the farm a
couple times in the last week to help her out since Dad is at work, I'm
planning on going over again tonight.
The last few days I have been really restless during the daytime. I
want to be outside doing things! I wish I only had to work in winter,
that would be so nice.
Last night Mik and I both went on a bit of a cleaning spree, mostly
picking up clutter and dusting things that haven't been dusted in ages.
Sometime this week we need to move the furniture to vaccum. Under the
couch there is a dust bunny the size of a ... well a bunny I guess.
This little fox guy for a mood icon is cute but he really doesn't have
many expressions. I need to find a set that has more variety.
