I'm much less excited about any of Jack's love interests though. Sorry to people who find this Angelo attractive but I don't at all. Not even a little. Brad's more attractive and I don't find him attractive either. In fact I'm fearing the sex scene with Angelo because at least Brad is a little nicer to look at. It's only a trailer but I can't see what would make Angelo one of Jack's greatest loves. I'm hoping it'll be interesting at least.
I loved what they did in S1 with Real Jack. And boy was Rippy a looker! I didn't find Ianto attractive but I could kind of see what Jack might see in him. But I keep hoping they'll stick Jack with somebody female and/or alien and/or older instead of these 20-something SWMs. Maybe S5 we'll actually see an exploration of his omnisexuality finally?
From here on in I'll just keep fantasizing about Jack/Esther the same as I did Jack/Suzie and Jack/Diane in S1 I guess. ;)
Gwen's talk about loving the thrill of Torchwood really has me intrigued. She's even more kickass than ever this series! And I'm invested in learning about all of the new characters as well. Especially Esther. I'm not sure if what's behind the immortality of the world is going to be as epic as TPTB want to make it out to be but I'm definitely glad I'm along for the ride. Can't wait until tonight! :D
