Doctor Who S6E01: The Impossible Astronaut Discussion Post!

SOME INITIAL THOUGHTS:
--ALEX KINGSTON PLEASE GET IN ME.
--Okay seriously you know that essay question they ask you on job/school applications that's like "if you could attend any dinner party in history which one would you choose and who would you invite?" (Okay that might not be it, because I think it's a dumb question and I always choose whatever the alternate question is but yeah) I WOULD CHOOSE TO ATTEND THAT DOCTOR/RIVER/AMY/RORY PICNIC. AND WOULD THEN STAY FOR THE AFTER-DINNER FOURSOME.
--Hoshit, Moffat, way to bring out the killing major characters hammer early in the season. I think you broke RTD's record, congrats.
IS THERE A MOFF VERSION OF THIS? SOMEBODY TELL ME THERE IS. --AMERICAN DUDE WHOSE NAME I FORGOT! I LIKE HIM!
--lol Amy being preggers. THAT WAS NOT HEAVILY FORESHADOWED AT ALL. I hope Moffat executes this storyline in a way that is true to the totally fantastic relationship between Amy and the Doctor, because that was pretty much my favorite thing about S5.
