Gleeclub Gally Exclusive! ~<3 brief chat with Jane Espenson
azn_jack_fiend and I had the most wonderful opportunity this afternoon to meet none other than Jane Espenson at Gally today and have a short Torchwood-related conversation.
1. She was incredibly courteous to our gushing and didn't rush us along the autograph line.
2. She had nothing but good things to say about Miracle Day (um, duh).
3. She personally confirmed that yes, there will be flashbacks in MD, and that she was currently in the process of writing an entire flashback episode!
4. She also told us that the new series wouldn't fill in all the gaps between the series, but that it would answer questions about backstory that we hadn't even thought of asking.
5. She said that though the story is as tight & complete as Children of Earth, there'd be plenty left for us to explore in fanfic.
6. Neither she nor Doris Egan knew what was up with RTD's cheese. It remains an unsolved mystery.
