Beautiful. As Sarky said, it's a beautifully constructed metaphor for the life of the Doctor. A very original piece! Your creativity amazes me once again. :)

Later they will say that he could outrun anyone but himself.

That was my favorite line because, in the end, I think the Doctor is running from himself. Another stunning piece of writing!

Quick spelling check: Others joint the race, push him forward, join?
