This is really lovely. I love the idea that the Doctor is essential to the Master. That without him, there is just no point to the Master.

There's something about these two together that just makes me smile, no matter how twisted or dark or anything. Your writing suits them beautifully. I always seem to come back to this quote: "A universe without the Doctor scarcely bears thinking about."

Very nice. It's the only "ghost in the TARDIS" theme with the Doctor being the ghostly partner (I loved your one with the dodo, by the way) I've ever come across. It makes perfect sense, given how the Master's going to be regenerating long past the Doctor's final death. I especially love "There are no words in any language to describe the expression on the Doctors face when the Master begins to laugh." So in character, so Master-like to laugh like that and to revel in the horror his laughter provokes.
