Peter stood in the shadows looking across the field. Unlike other adults here, he didn't care about the game. No, he was watching two students that had caught his eye.
One was Stiles. People might see a over-hyper boy, but Peter had seen his courage, his cleverness and willingness to do whatever it took to accomplish an undertaking.
Then there was Lydia. She lived her life in duplicity. Willing to deceit and deception to hide her intelligence. Willing to play a role for personal gain.
With the right nurturing these two would be perfect for his pack. Peter wanted them.
