Clarification of this comms purpose.

I thought that I should post an entry on here to set a few things clear.
cs_whitewolf and I set up this community in the immediate aftermath of Children of earth when the torchwood communities were being flooded with people bitching and moaning about Ianto dying, and the various degrees of hatred that came out of it. Including the harrassment of James Moran, and the mud slinging that was going around all over the place.
We thought, hey! why not set up a community where people can go who liked CoE, who don't want to go around crying about how they'll never watch Torchwood again, and where you're guaranteed not to get any bring back Ianto campaigns being shoved down your throat, or a million and one fix it fics.
There were lots of things wrong with CoE, we're not saying it's perfect, and our intention was not to say that anyone who doesn't think it is, is insane.
The whole point of this community was to provide a place where people who like CoE could come and discuss it, without fear of arguements and wank in the comments.
We're not saying that you have to think it's perfect. There are things about it that both cs_whitewolf and I didn't like about it, and lots of things we did. Varied discussion is welcomed with open arms. We don't want a lovefest where nothing can be critised, because that would be boring.
We just wanted a place away from the wank and OTT reactions that were flooding the comms over the last week.
Things have been worded poorly, and people have missenterpreted what we set up this comm for, and we are sorry for that.
We hope that if you liked CoE, even with the deaths and plot holes, then please do join. You don't have to like every single thing about the series, but if you want a place where you can show your love for it, and partake in discussions about what you did and didn't like, in a mature and sensible manner then we hope that this community can be a place where you can do that.
