He was hit, and he knew it - he could smell the burning fuel. His plane would explode around him, in a matter of seconds. A big white flash that none but the enemies would see. Because he had gotten his men back to safety.
Had he known, that James or Jack, last night? Had it been just pity?
Harkness had heard that one was supposed to have a flashback on one's life, at this time. But all he thought of, before he went up in flames, was a brilliant light after a dance, and one kiss, just one kiss.
