Torchwood One had put a shadow in everyone’s home, a harmless ghost which became a terrifying cyberman, one of millions, all of one mind, determined to take over the planet.
The devastation of the battle of Canary Wharf had left Ianto with a cyberman of his own. His beloved Lisa, half turned into a mechanical monstrosity, half flesh and blood. His devotion to the human half allowed him to ignore the rest. He didn’t see the metal frame, the jerky movements, the ruthless desire to turn every one of them into cold, brutal machines.
He only saw his beautiful girl.
