What happened to Jack?

Summary: I couldn’t use the title of the song without giving away the story. Hope nobody minds. Jack’s dead again, what killed him this time?
“What happened to him?” Ianto asked as they knelt beside Jack’s battered body. “Did he fall off the roof again?”
“By the impact injury on his head and the two parallel bruises on his back,” Owen said, “I would say that Jack got run over by a reindeer, walking home from the Hub on Christmas Eve.”
“I told him not to report a sleigh-shaped UFO to UNIT,” Ianto shook his head.
“It was funny when they shot him down though,” Owen grinned.
They decided not to tell the girls what happened; Gwen still hadn’t gotten over Santa being an alien.
