Her darling Rhys was alive and Jack was back from the dead.
She’d kissed Rhys and told him she would come back to him later, but something pulled her back to the hub, back to Jack. She needed to put her arms around him, to keep him close, keep him safe, to make sure he was real.
Tears of relief trickled slowly down her face. She couldn’t explain why Jack mattered so much to her. What if he hadn’t revived? What would she have done?
She couldn’t think that way.
It really would have been the end of the world.
