Okay I hadn't actually thought of it like that :D But anyway that makes you happy is fine by me.

I was more on the growing child going looking for them.
BUT Jack could definitely have had a spideysense moment on seeing random child still alive when everyone else was dead where they'd fallen (even if he was half dead at the time)
That or Ianto was being his eyes for him ;-)

Okay now I have a whole fic unfolding in my head and you KNOW I'm terrible with those!!

I think there was off-show mention by RTD that all of the Torchwood staff had been spotted long before being hired on after a brush with something alien, so that happening to the boy works well for me.

It's amusing to me when people point out my inadvertent depth of storytelling, so enjoy being expectantly brilliant.
