My Interview with the Demon Lord Nadil...
Me: Hello Lord Nadil.
Him: ……….. Hello.
Me: *sweat dropping* Do you have a fav color?
Him: Red.
Me: Why?
Him: Because it is the color of blood.
Me: *more sweat drops* . . . Your fav hobby?
Him: . . . Killing people . . . But I like to make my subordinates frightened and/or uncomfortable.
Me: How exactly do you do that?
Him: By being me of course.
Me: Err, right. Okay. What is your goal in life?
Him: To conquer the world *evil laughter* expect anything else?
Me: Um . . . No. Next, if you were a type of weather, what would you choose?
Him: The snow.
Me: *gagging* Pardon?
Him: I would choose to be the snow.
Me: Um . . . Why?
Him: Because it is pretty to look at, but it can kill.
Me: Like yourself?
Him: *smirking* Yes, I suppose like me.
Me: Uh huh. Could you tell me about your past?
Him: I could.
Me: Will you?
Him: Definitely not.
Me: Why not?
Him: . . . I prefer not to dwell in the past. The present and the future are more important.
Me: Please do not go philosophical; I will not be able to keep up. Now, is there any female that you feel attracted to?
Him: . . . Do I have to answer this?
Me: It is part of my interview, yes.
Him: *sigh* As a matter in fact yes.
Me: *giggles excitedly* Ooh! What is she like?
Him: She was very energetic, but meek when the time called for it. She was very kind to everyone, and does not hold a grudge against the Dragon Clan.
Me: Why would she hold a grudge?
Him: The Dragon Clan’s raids killed her relatives, including her three-month-old cousin.
Me: *gasps* The poor thing! . . . If you could describe your love for her in a single sentence, what would it be?
Him: . . . My love cannot be put into words.
Me: Vague, but still romantic. Looks like talking about your love brings a new side to you.
Him: Is that a question?
Me: Er, no, just a small note to myself. You always put her in the past tense. Could you explain why?
Him: Because to her, I am dead. And it is better for us to stay like this.
Me: I still do not get it……. Will you explain some more?
Him: I do not want to hurt her more than necessary.

Him: You could put it that way.
Me: About your policies, Kainaldia is rivaling Dusis for the most economic prosperity. What have you done to contribute to Kainaldia’s success?
Him: Nothing, just unified the demons. Otherwise Kainaldia would have become like Arinas.
Me: That in an of itself contributes to the prosperity. Do you wish for your sons to follow your footsteps?
Him: Frankly, I do not wish them to.
Me: *confused* Help me out here. Let me get this straight. You are the demon lord, correct?
Him: Yes.
Me: You have two male heirs.
Him: Yes.
Me: However, you do not want them to inherit. They are just heirs by name. Why is that?
Him: Because I do not want them to go through everything I went through. As a father, I just want them to have a happy life.
Me: But I’m still confused. I always thought that you did not have a care in the world.
Him: I did have some, but I preferred not to show the fact that I did.
Me: Otherwise it would be seen as a weakness?
Him: Exactly. That I believe is what brought Lykouleon’s demise.
Me: About that, do you regret toying with his feelings for Raseleane?
Him: A little guilt flutters inside of me once in a while.
Me: If you could, would you not do some of your actions, given the chance to change them?
Him: . . . . I really would try to be a little less demonic, given the chance to redo my reign. However, I believe that had I not been demonic, I would never have meet my love.
Me: Ah, so the whole Fate and Destiny deal. Demon Lord Nadil thank you for your time. You’ve given me a new insight to demons. I hope to show this side of you to the rest of the world.
Him: . . . Do whatever you wish. Since I’m dead, I will not be affected.

Him: *cracking a small smile* No, just a comment.
this was a side thing from my Dragon Knights fanfic... a friend told me to do this in order to understand Nadil, since i''m writing from his pov... thought i should post this before going on with my fic... please comment! ^_^
