One of my more popular characters. I've been using her for years, did a comic strip for Dumm Comics recently, I've been planning a Strawberry webcomic/cartoon website for a while now.

A very blatant, obvious rip off of Strawberry named Foxy.
I didn't notice it until he posted this: http://jowywhiteh.deviantart.com/art/I-want-to-be-in-the-pictures-109573074 In the comments section, I had some words with the lad, who's an 18 year old from England. I warned him that he doesn't want to gain a reputation as someone who rips off other people's characters.

To his credit, he changed the style, but it's still such an obvious Strawberry ripoff. I wouldn't care (as much) if not for what he says in his description:
"this is a character i have been commissioned to design for a short animation with this animator his dressed as a chicken for a reason possibly because his going to try and catch a chicken his based off this character"
So... it's going to be used for some actual project now?
What the hell do I do? Do I get on his case some more? I don't think I'd have a legal case, sadly. Should I ignore it and assume nothing will ever come of this guy? Should I alert my mini-legion on DeviantArt? Any ideas? I really don't want to have to stop using one of my favorite characters because some dumbass kid ripped me off.
