I have half a million head cannons about Freddie and Bel on The Hour, but the one I like the most is about Bel's love poems. In 1x03, Bel mentions that she's never received love poems before, and Freddie corrects her to tell her that she has. He later recites an e.e. cummings poem, and we get the idea that this was the poem he was referring to. I've read a few fics which involve Freddie just giving her the love poem, but I have this idea that Bel received some really crappy "love poems" from one of her bankers, maybe for her birthday or some holiday. Some flowers were delivered with the poem attached, and before she could get to them, Freddie had already snatched the card from the flowers and began reading to the whole office. The poems are just terrible and everyone gets a kick out of them. Bel says they're nice, and Freddie says something like she doesn't understand real poetry. A few days later, a small arrangement comes for her with the e.e. cummings poem attached. Freddie never says anything about it, and everyone in the office just assumes it's from the banker. Bel knows it's Freddie, but she never says anything about it, so the scene in 1x03 was the first time Freddie has ever owned up to sending it.
