Finn was excited to get to spend time with his brother. They lived completely different lives now and Kurt couldn't always come home to visit. He'd taken a break from New York and his nightmare roommates over NYADA's spring break, and he was back in Lima. "Come on! Please?" Finn begged.
Kurt sat on the sofa, watching some boring show Finn didn't know the name of as he drank some coffee. Finn was in the doorway, decked out from head to toe in winter gear. They'd just gotten a fresh snowfall, six new inches of snow to pile on top of what they had already, and he wanted to go out and play. "Your inner child is making itself blatantly obvious again," Kurt commented, but the annoyance that should have been there was absent.
"Please? I want to play in the snow!" Finn said with a grin. "C'mon dude, it'll be fun!"
Finn had never had a sibling to play in the snow with. He'd had Puck there once he was older, but when he was really young he had to do it alone. Now that he had a brother, Finn really wanted to spend that quality time with him. Finn beamed like a small child at Kurt, bouncing on his feet until Kurt sighed. "Fine. Two snow angels and that's my limit," Kurt said, unable to fight the smile on his face as he bundled up in the atrocious snow gear in the hall closet.
"Yes!" Finn exclaimed, pumping his fist as he waited for Kurt to dress. He was grinning from ear to ear. "Best. Winter. Ever."
