Aaggh!!!
I've just corrupted something in my Kobo and as a result have had to do a factory reset. I have some of my ebooks on disk here so i can replace a few of them, at least 2 that i'm reading but another one i'm reading is only on disk at home. I can't install the Kobo desktop app here at work because A. it's kind of non-work related and you know, i shouldn't have it on my work computer and B. it doesn't work anyway. I think the firewall is preventing it from accessing the internet properly so there's no point. I uninstalled it. I would have anyway once the Kobo was updated properly. I'll have to do it tonight. Meanwhile, it's back to the original operating system, without that slick new update from a couple of months back so i have to get used to where to find everything again. It won't access any wifi networks until it's set up properly using the computer desktop app, that's the one that won't work here. Oh well, anyway, i can still read at lunchtime and on the way home and then when i get home i can hook it up and get it all sorted again.
