Testing...testing...
I had my glucose test today. For those of you not lurking on various family planning boards, you basically have to drink a pint of very, very, very, very, very sweet orange soda (sort of like Sunkist with an extra dollop of sugar added) and then wait around for an hour. Then they take your blood. It's supposed to tell you if you are in danger of developing Gestational Diabetes. If you fail, then you have to go back for a three-hour test and if you don't pass that one, then you are considered to have GD. I'm pretty nervous about the results- I eat quite a fair amount of sugar in my day to day life and I have gained a hefty amount of weight with this pregnancy. But on the plus side, I walk 40 minutes a day, I'm very healthy, And I don't have any symptoms of anything. So I guess we'll see...
